Carolyn has been a little obsessed with caterpillars lately. She found three living outside, and promptly adopted them. They lived in our lavendar plant for quite a few days. No amount of pleading with her could convince her that the caterpillars would fare better if she just let them roam so she pretty much held them for several days straight. We even had some caterpillar Nascar racing. Carolyn found two toy cars, put one caterpillar in each and sent them flying. Thankfully, the caterpillars did not come to any harm in this endeavor.
