SOOOO CUTE!!!!

Carolyn has an imaginary friend named California. She is 25 feet tall and she has very big hair. Her Mom tells her to jump on the bed and the couch. California just came over for a playdate. ;) Good stuff!

First Beach Day of the New Year...

It was WARM yesterday--the warmest day we've had all year, so... We headed to the beach. The girls had fun exploring and testing the limits of how close they could get to the water. And Carolyn made a new friend.... You'll see said friend soon! (PS--since I'm using Picasa again, you can click on each photo to see a larger version if you so desire).

This is Carolyn with her driftwood 'friend.' She became extremely attached to her friend. In fact, when we left she had a total meltdown because we had misplaced the walking stick. Carolyn makes inanimate friends quickly and easily. It does make life interesting!

Look at that little dimple.

How many times did we tell them to "Stay out of the water!" Oh well... it made for some good photos.

What've We Been Up To?

A whole lotta nothing. You can see we've just been hanging out and being together.

Abbie conked out on the (very cluttered) living room floor.

Andy drug me out on this log--no proof of me being there, but I was. Anyway, it's pretty gnarly, huh?

Yeah... that's exactly what you think it is... What can I say, she likes Mommy's stickers!

Carolyn INSISTED on wearing these clothes one day, despite the fact that I emphatically told her that they were TOO SMALL. Oh well, she looked cute anyway!

Clearly she'd suffered an injustice!

Is Abbie, Sure, Sure, Sure or Unsure, Unsure, Unsure? You decide!

Snuggle Time--Abbie refuses to go to sleep without someone with her. And Daddy can't resist napping with her when they snuggle. I find them this way a lot!

Both sisters have become rather fond of pigtails. Abbie is actually quite funny about it. If she finds a ponytail, or if she sees me putting one in C's hair she comes running up to me going, "po-tail! po-tail!" until I put them in. When I'm putting them in she says, "Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow" the whole time. Then as soon as I'm finished she says, "Thankoo!"

I'm not sure she has fully grasped the concept of Mr. Potato Head. Ah well.
