Pony Tails

 
Aunt Jenn sends THE BEST packages in the world. For Abbie's birthday her chosen theme was 'My Little Ponies.' I'm not sure how Aunt Jenn knew that My Little Ponies happen to be Abbie's FAVORITE thing on the entire planet. She calls them "Pony Tails" (or maybe it's "Pony Tales.") Here she is with her very special My Little Pony from Aunt Jenn.

Carolyn's Caterpillars

 
Carolyn has been a little obsessed with caterpillars lately. She found three living outside, and promptly adopted them. They lived in our lavendar plant for quite a few days. No amount of pleading with her could convince her that the caterpillars would fare better if she just let them roam so she pretty much held them for several days straight. We even had some caterpillar Nascar racing. Carolyn found two toy cars, put one caterpillar in each and sent them flying. Thankfully, the caterpillars did not come to any harm in this endeavor.

Papa and Nonna

Papa and Nonna came to visit for Abbie's birthday. We had a wonderful time with them. We took a boat tour for Mother's Day, walked on the beach, visited the Rhododendron gardens, and enjoyed one another's company.

Abbies Birthday

Abbie turned two!!! We had a little party with Papa and Nonna and some friends or ours. Papa and Nonna got her a new little red wagon which she loves.

Carolyn's New Bike

Our "surrogate grandparent" people Sue and Harris managed to find a bike for Carolyn. Daddy put some training wheels on and bought a helmut and knee pads and she was off! She's doing really well with it!
