One of my favorite things about the kids who live in this neighborhood is that they still do things that kids are SUPPOSED to do. They run around together and play tag and spend more time outside than indoors playing video games. They even catch frogs (which is quintessential childhood purity at it's finest). Tonight, the kids next door found three little frogs in a pond not far from here, and they brought them over to our yard to show us. Carolyn was fascinated. Abbie was more interested in Dandelions. (Actually, it's just that it was hard to photograph Abbie's frog interactions as 1) I was holding her AND the camera and 2) She kept trying to grab the froggies and squeeze.)

Tons and Tons of Tulips!
Ok, you know you've been waiting for it. It's Tulip Time in Washington!!!!!! These were taken over two days. Andy and I went on a date and ended up exploring some fields even though we hadn't planned on it. The next day we went as a family. We've gone four years in a row now, and visiting the fields and taking photos has become a way to measure and observe the growth and changes in our family.
And the name of this Tulip variety is....
A couple of Daffodils

Aquarium
We took off one day to go to the Seattle Aquarium again. We had a wonderful time. Carolyn's favorite part was meeting the scuba diver. I'll tell you a little bit about that in a minute.
Sea Anenome
Here is Carolyn with the Scuba Diver. He was cleaning the tanks and Carolyn was just fascinated. She went from pane of glass to pane of glass following after him, and he loved playing with her through the glass. He gave her high fives. At the last panel of glass, he needed to clean a pane that had a starfish on it. So, he moved the starfish down to where Carolyn was. She was delighted about her "special present." Later, the scuba diver was wandering around the aquarium himself, and he ran into us. He told Carolyn, "I saw you through the glass!" She was really shy and didn't say much, but she eventually gave him a high five. She hasn't stopped talking about him yet!
Nemo and Dory!
Starfish in the touch tanks. We all got to touch starfish, anenomes, urchins, sea cucumbers, and more!
