Still Nothing Doing
Abbie is loving mobility and the ability to explore the world around her these days.
She's also learned to drive already.
Yes, I let her eat straight out of the jar.
Carolyn and Daddy
Sometimes I think she doesn't realize how much she is growing.

What We've Been Up To
It's been a long time since I've updated here, so I thought I'd give a little photographic representation of what we've been up to. Answer: Not a whole lot.
We did decide to head to Seattle one day to officially experience the Space Needle. We figured not doing so would be to commit a great regional sin.
Looking up
The skyline
We also decided to experience the infamous monorail. Our review is that it could be a cool thing if they'd commit and do something with it. As it stands, it seems kind of a pricey way to travel a few blocks.
The Nightviews:
With our regional travel duties fulfilled, we've mostly stayed close to home and putzed around. We did get our one big snow of the year about a week after returning from Hawaii. Although we could still see grass through the snow, the base closed and we got a snow day. No complaints here. The best part? We had enough snow to build a snowman!
The girls have been cooking together in the new kitchen.
And they've even taken a few airplane rides.
Carolyn has been experimenting with various food goods in the kitchen. We've had several, "It's a little too quiet" experiences. Here she is making roadways out of cocoa. As for her other experiments, let's just say that Karo Syrup doesn't photograph well.
Carolyn has been a big helper since Daddy has been gone on detachment. And, Abigail seems to eat more when Carolyn is the one holding the spoon. Of course, Carolyn eats more too.
Here's our little Abbie-cat
And of course there have been snuggles.
