Easter 2009

We had a fantastic Easter. I mean picture perfect. We woke up and the girls were over the moon first to see that Jesus was out of the 'tomb,' and second to see their Easter baskets on the table. We got them all gussied up and went to a lovely service at church. We came home and did a whirlwind cleaning of the house and whipped up a dinner (thanks SO MUCH Gramma K for the corn recipe!), and had some good friends over (can I just say that the chocolate chip cheesecake we had for dessert was FANTASTIC). The girls did their Easter Egg hunt and Carolyn was very happy with her 'basket of loop' as she kept calling it. And then the day ended on the most perfect note with the most brilliant rainbow I've ever seen out in the Harbor.

Abbie insisted on eating in her Nemo chair, so she could sit by her buddy, Hunter. She ended up with her own private table for Easter dinner.
