Ok... So this is diaper cream on my child's face. That's the funny part. That's the part that made me laugh when I caught her after she'd smeared it all over her face instead of going to sleep one night. The part that wasn't so funny was flushing her eyes (while I held them open) for five minutes as per poison control's instructions.... So, even our diaper cream is under lock and key these days... *sigh*

The New House

Some promised photos of the new house. We're so excited about our view. The most amazing part of it to me, surprisingly isn't the amazing views of the water and the moutains. The thing that I love on top of all of that is watching the clouds. We watch the weather as it moves in and out and the cloud-shows we get are spectacular. This house is such a gift of grace. There is no reason in the world that we should live in a place this beautiful, but somehow this home fell into our laps. We are just so thankful.

FOUR years old!!!

How can my baby girl be FOUR already?! Today was the day! We had a lovely party yesterday with some good friends. As you can see, Carolyn dressed the part of a birthday princess. She got loads of loot, and was overall excited and adorable all evening.

Today we went to Jungle Playland and to "The Big Scoop" for Ice Cream. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera, but let me tell you the kid had a ball. She ran so fast at Jungle Playland that Daddy and Mommy couldn't keep up with her.

So after two days of Birthdaying, we're all ready for a rest... a short one at least. And then we'll move into our new house!

Harris (a surrogate Grandpa-type) and Abbie helped blow out the candles.
