More Snow, More Deception Pass, More Beach

The snow just keeps coming down here. Andy just had to go see what kinds of photos he could get of Deception Pass and as you can see it was GORGEOUS there today. We had to go to the beach again too. I have to tell you, seeing THAT much snow right up next to the beach is just cool. I'm sure my friends from Maine are so used to that, but I'm NOT. I love it.

Snow on the Island

We had to get out and see the scenery yesterday. I was very excited to see what a snowstorm looked like on the beach. And of course we had to go see the bridge. Those of you who've been here before will recognize Deception Pass. Doesn't it look different with snow??

 

 

 

 

 

Christmasy Day

We had a very Christmasy day on Saturday. It started with a trip to a Holly Farm nearby. We got to take a nice "Christmas Card" photo and Abbie played in a herd of Reindeer. The girls also got to meet a very docile English Mastif. I wish we had photos of that!

From there we headed to the beach. We didn't stay long because it was so chilly, but it was beutiful.

Then we were off to another Holly Farm/Lavender Farm/Christmas Tree Farm. There we took a horse-drawn wagon ride out to a Christmas Tree lot. We already had our tree so we just looked around. Abbie wasn't so thrilled about that.

Anyway, it was a good day to get into the Christmas spirit.
